What's Your Why?
Ontario seniors asked OSSCO for information on health-related issues and OSSCO took action with a program to raise cancer awareness in seniors.
What's Your Why? builds on the work of and uses materials developed by researchers, Dr. Penny MacCourt and Ms. Marian Krawczyk. Working with provincial organizations and groups, OSSCO helps enhance the health of older adults in Ontario with this interactive, educational workshop.
Through discussion, video and resources, you'll learn more about prostate cancer; breast cancer; colorectal cancer and cervical cancer. You'll also learn about the benefits of early detection and how to get screened. Discover your own why and take charge of your health.
This workshop will take place at the Alta Vista Retirement Community at 751 Peter Morand Crescent, 2nd Floor Lounge in Ottawa, ON.
